The main-page painting, “Lights,” is by Rachel Burgess. Rachel grew up in Brookline, MA. She received a B.A. in Literature from Yale University and an M.F.A. in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts. She currently freelances in New York City, where she also teaches art. Her favorite poet is Yeats, her favorite medium is monotype, and her favorite stories to illustrate are old English ballads.
