Melissa Eleftherion grew up in Brooklyn. She is the author of huminsect (dancing girl press), prism maps (dusie kollektiv), Pigtail Duty (forthcoming from dancing girl press), and several other chapbooks and fragments. She holds an MLIS from San Jose State University, and an MFA from Mills College. Recent work appears or is forthcoming in Bibliomancy Oracle, Bone Bouquet, Bukowski Erasure Poetry Anthology, {carriage return}, Dusie, Finery, Poet as Radio, & So to Speak. She lives & works as a teen librarian in Ukiah where she creates poetry programming, and also manages the Poetry Center Chapbook Exchange.
